Still Sick

amalthiaToday is going pretty badly. I just bombed my biology test, and I didn't just fail it, I BOMBED it. with a 51.
I wish there was an excuse, just because I'm sick and only got 3 hours of sleep last night because my nose was either to stuffy to breath or it would start running and then I'd have to sneeze. It was plain awful.

I hate biology, maybe it made me realize i'm just not that smart. I really can't make heads or tails out of what the professor is asking half the time.
I'm finally home from work and I plan on going back to sleep. Hopefully tonight I'll feel better and I can finish reading The Last Testatment of Lucky Luciano for my term paper. Actually the book is really good, considering it's about the the mafia.
So other than feeling lowsy and failing biology, things are looking up. I have 3 days to finish my term paper and I shouldn't have too many distractions this weekend. :)

Date: 2003-04-11 11:52 am (UTC)Biology was never my most lovable subject either, but I did well in it since had such a brilliant teacher. I read the exam you were given and I was really wondering what kind of biology you were doing. I'd say I could answer half of it on a good day with what I know, but seriously, the rest were just...blah! Think I'd need to read the text book. We had about the human body, enzymes, micro-biology, not plants...Don't shoot yourself short though, I think you are smarter than you say. You just have to find the right book and the right teacher, those questions and that test is downright confusing if I might say so.
