Date: 2007-07-03 06:33 pm (UTC)It's nice to have easy recipes like this one handy!
I have a soup recipe that I love to make that's tasty and easy:
Spicy Tomato Soup
1 14.5 oz can of diced tomato
1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
1 sweet onion, diced
approx 4 cups diced potato
1/2 to 1 lb italian sausage, browned
dump all these ingredients in a crockpot, spice to taste with garlic, pepper, or whatever strikes your fancy, and add enough water to cover over all ingredients.
cook on high 5 hrs, or low for 8-10. I like to do this one before work and come in after work to smell dinner already done. MMmmm! I've used all sorts of sausage in it, depending on what was handy -- once I even used breakfast sausage with maple and it was darn good with that too.
