edit: I kind of noticed that there are some error messages with each post. I will have to do some research to figure out what's going on.

mostly, mebbe i could be lucky enough to swing a friday off, but I still have to negotiate how my school year will go. might ask for every sunday or friday off to study. :|

well I work until 8pm fridays, but Sunday has potential. then we just need to get shirely a day off that same day and we're good to go. :)

yes! I can do sundays. :) I'm not sure if this upcoming Sunday will work because Tom is going offshore for 30 days on Monday, but are you both off the following sunday?

I tested this one out and I'm getting the same error messages. Are you getting them as well??? maybe it's my LJ layout?

no error messages for me on the second. so it may be settings in your IJ. offer both to your readers and they can pick the one that looks best for them.

So you looked at this via your flist? or a rss reader?

both the rss feed (feed #2) and the atom feed (feed #1) that I created had problems with some of your entries when I read them on my friends page. These are the same problems I see when I go to the feed's page itself. Note: The second feed had fewer problems.

the feed reader I am using (which is another software application apart from LJ) does not have any problems. but remember these two feeds are for your generic LJ readers. I would submit a support query to insanejournal and ask them if there is a setting in your IJ that interacts poorly with LJ. ex. insanejournal just announced that some LJ feeds for LJ communities (ex. the spnnewsletter feed) will not work because there is too much data to pull across

I'll write to IJ support about this. I'm beginning to think I should have done some research ahead of time. But there is no guarantee that JF woudln't have the same problems with the feeds.

I think for now I'll avoid bolding any text and see how that goes. (okay i'm grasping at straws right now...but it may work until IJ is able to fix this.

okay I think I may have figured out what's happening. the < b > </ b > tags for some reason seems to be the cause of the error messages. I'll have to test this out some more to see what's going on, but so far the amalthia_ij2 seems to be having less problems than the first.

I think as long as everyone else is able to see the feed properly then it doesn't matter as much if the formatting looks funky to me. :)

I keep forgetting to double post, so you might want to keep an eye on me or get someone to create an RSS feed.

i haven't really been doing great with the rss feeds, I'll just re-friend you. :) At least until I get a paid account with JF, I think then I'll have more leeway to mess around with rss feeds. I really don't want to lose track of my friends.
