Great news

After much angst, my husband and I were finally able to return the HP laptop to best buy. We had to break a few of the keys off the laptop to return it without having to pay a 15% restocking fee though. :( Really I'm never EVER shopping at Best Buy for computers. So I think for the next laptop I try I'll just spend the extra 100 and get XP. Basically, I was not happy they would not take the laptop back because it wasn't performing the way we'd hoped. (mostly having big issues with connecting to home network) And well they couldn't find anything wrong with the lan or wireless so they said no way Jose. I did a lot of research today seeing if I could convert it to XP but apparently HP isn't providing all the drivers for the XP version of this laptop (not sure if one actually existed) So it was looking rather bleak.

Okay basically right now I'm happy, got our money back and off loaded the laptop with Vista. (the sad part is the laptop really was nice, it just couldn't fly because they put Vista on it)
