I'm still alive

I started working at a new job two weeks ago and at work I'm kind of trying to be cautious about using the internet because they monitor internet activity. As a result, I barely have any time for fandom. But I'm still alive, and I'm reading some stories. Though I think I'm going to have to be a lot more selective than I have been in the past. Not sure how I'm going to pick. Obviously, when I had some time I still racked up a huge list of stories to read.
I'm really looking forward to the extra 2 days I'll have off for x-mas. I'm hoping to add more stories to the Ebook Library and catch up on reading a bit. :)
In the meantime, I had a very busy and fun weekend. Friday night my husband and I went and saw Slumdog Millionarie and it was AWESOME and tragic and so very good. If you get the chance SEE THIS MOVIE. Saturday night one of my husband's co-workers had a x-mas party at her house and we went and stayed for 4 hours or so. Today, was my husband's company x-mas party? it was lame. Very very lame. It was a brunch and I don't mind all the kids but really I had better food in high school. (It was eggs, cold french toast, and basic breakfast food you had to stand in line to get)
The real highlight of my day besides calling my friend
lovesrain44 (which to be fair I do almost every night anyways) was meeting the really lovely and friendly
tealin. We talked for 2 hours about fannish stuff and time flew by very quickly until we both realized we still had errands to run and had to part ways. I had a blast and I really hope we get the chance to meet again in January.
