I haven't actually *clicked* on anything yet, but even though I don't read SPN fic mostly (frankly, the fandom scares me. Badly.)... well, the *title* makes me squee kind of like a girl. I have so many versions of that song #^_^#

In Her Right Hand, A Silver Dagger ^_^ There are several versions of "Katie Dear", but the easiest one to find is probably from Down the Old Plank Road by David Rawlings, Gillian Welch and The Chieftains. The lyrics vary a little from song to song; that one happens to go "by her side is a silver dagger, to slay the one that I would wed".

I could always be randomly projecting though. #^___^#
