Star Trek Yes the NEW Movie!

This is a non-spoilery rec, however can't guarantee the comments won't have spoilers.

It was AWESOME! and now I want to find some slash for Kirk/Spock. Not going to say more than I think this movie would be great for people who know the series, the movies, and for those who kind of got stuck watching re-runs at grandma's...

The action was good, characters, plot, everything fell into place.

I can't rec this movie enough. It really did exceed my expectations.

Okay going to bed now or I'll turn into a zombie at work tomorrow. Sadly, no Star Trek icon...

I loved it. It was a great homage to the old series. And I was all over McCoy/Kirk. Spock seemed to be otherwise engaged. And you know, I was okay with that.

Oh, the squee! I just watched it in a cinema filled with deeply impressed trekkies. Now I need the fanfic!!!
