Okay it looks like I found the offending script and according to google and Firefox my sites (aka the Ebook Library, my vids, and tutorials) are safe to visit. that's anything I'm hosting on amalthia.mediawood.net

I've changed my password to my account but I'm not sure what else to do to make my site more secure so this doesn't happen again. I visit my site every day so if it happens again I'm sure I'll find out about it rather quickly. (okay I only have access to my site on weekends and during a 4 hour window at night when I'm home from work)

I figured tonight would be a great time to run another virus scan as well as spybot and adware scans.

Yesterday and today have been kind of stressful.

However, I do have some recs for tonight! :) after I get back from playing Go.

So what happened - someone hacked your site and inserted malicious script into one of your html files? Or did it happen some other way?

I didn't know there were ways other than FTP - you'll have to post on the alternative you end up using :o)
