My mom sent a fucking chain letter to me again! This time it's for people who are trying to convince the president to re-introduce praying in Schools! I'm sorry, I'm not Christian and if I had children I would not want them exposed to such a violent religion! I mean come on, who are they kidding, only one religion would ever be represented in our public schools and that is Christianity, not Islam, Judaism or any other of the various denominations in our country. I believe religion is a home and church matter, not a public school matter. parents who want to brainwash their kids better need to send them to private schools if it means that much to them. I wonder how Christians would feel if every morning before the bell rang everyone pulled out a prayer rug to pray and how their kids would feel by being left out?

I think I need to write to my congressman and let him know I'm atheist and support the Supreme Court Ruling.

Of course I'll have to write more clearly when I do write to him.

I think the Christians who keep advocating this just don't care because they know (with fanatical glee) that their's is the dominant religion in this country. And just like every other major religion in this world, they want to continue imposing their beliefs on everyone, believers and nonbelievers alike. Face it, if they didn't, the religion would die out. It’s all about making sure believers stay believers and either converting or killing, to use a very overused word, infidels. It's annoying but it's really natural... very Darwinian if I may. ^^

Delete your mom’s email and send a letter to your congressman. But I’m pretty sure that it’s not going to happen. We, as a Americans, like to keep up the pretense of a separation between church and state.
