Vacation day 5

amalthiaOkay, I'll admit I don't always plan things well but today we did worse than normal. I'm not sure why we thought it would be a good idea to hit Six Flags Fiesta Texas at 11am. Now going wouldn't have been so bad but we didn't even bring our bathing suits for the waterpark! so basically we got our season pass photos, went on two rides and walked very quickly back to the park before we completely melted. We've decided next time we go to the park to go around 5pm swim for two hours then hit the other rides.
As soon as we got home my husband and I threw on our bathing suits and jumped into the pool to cool down.
Really, I'm not used to the heat anymore. So far I don't think it's gotten over 70 degrees in Anchorage once this summer. So we went from a 50 degree temperature average (45 at night) to 95-100...I think the rest of the vacation if we're not going anywhere outdoors that does not involve swimming or water rides. I told my mom if we ain't swimming we ain't going! :)
I think I now remember why as children when we went swimming at my grandmother's we started at 10pm and swam till 4am.
