Um, am I the only one having problems today reading my email on gmail? I see the subject line but all the text is gone.

EDIT: Found a solution Here I can now view my messages properly. :)

How random, I was just checkling my dwcircle to see if anyone was mentioning LJ not working -- I can't get any LJ pages to load.

My gmail seems to be working fine, though. I can see all the text when I click.

Can you get LJ to load?

That's weird. :/

This is a long-shot, but maybe try switching to a different theme? Maybe they screwed up the colors on the theme you're using?

I think that's not such a long shot. They're fucking around w/ gmail right now, which means all kinds of stuff can go wrong. BTW, gmail, that new look? Gross!

Glad it's not just me! My real-life-name's account has been "upgraded" to the new look and *bleccccch*. I think they're trying wayyy too hard to be like Facebook. :(

The popularity of Facebook boggles me. I had a Facebook account for a couple of months but it was useless to me. I can only imagine there are people who have a specific need that I don't have, and FB fulfills that need. There was nothing on it that leapt out at me and said "useful!" or "fun!" and made me want to stay.

The only "benefit" (to Google, not to us) of the new Gmail look that I noticed is that it does seem to emphasize the ads more. Other than that, it just seems like a huge waste of screen real estate.
