Okay I want to talk with someone else who's seen part 2 of Mobieus!!!

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!

******

What was up with that ending!!! Does this mean all the stuff that happened previously is null and void??? I liked the episode, but I think I would have been happier if they went back to status quo at the end. :( all I keep thinking of is the paradox's the ending brings up. But then again watching the ending a second time, maybe I mis-interpreted what occured. Except for the fish in the pond...

Anway, I'm happy I got to see the ending. I was looking forward to watching this episode all day at work and it didn't let me down. :)

I've just ranted about this ep to my sister. Jack falling for Sam? Jack thinking Daniel is gay?? Of course he is but so IS JACK!! ((throttles the new Jack)) I believe this can only be a Daniel-having-a-nighmare episode. @_@ Otherwise the poor guy just watched his three best friends getting exicuted for following his stupid plan of getting a powersource from the past.

Argh. I'm still in my anti-social phase. Felt totally burned out after the last Yaoi-con anthology. But I'm slowly getting back on track ;-)
Yep, Stargate is one of my fandoms, I love Daniel getting HURT fics. As long as he's eventually made better by some male or other preverably Jack but I'm not choosy. Could be anyone. ;-)
As to the hand movement, I thought WrongTimeline!Jack demonstrated the famous limp-writs aka homosexual-male-over-there sign... Plus the What A Dork sign ;-). I think he was astonished that Sam felt attracted to a "gay" man, not that she fell for a fellow dork/geek/genius... I mean she (Wrong Timeline!Sam) herself looked awfully dorkish/absent-professor-like...
Might be my paranoid self speaking.

>The meeting was kind of anti-climatic.
Argee with you totally. Daniel *must* carry an awful lot of guilt with him, it was his idea after all that made the original team dare this journey into the past. And he might even have witnessed the execution of his team-members, likle Ra made it into a public spectacle to quell any thoughts of further rebellion. I would.

What I see now, is Daniel falling for WrongTimeline! T'ealc. Not too bad a thing, as I love the original, non-humanized T'ealc.
I only fear the writers of this show will leave it like this. WrongTimeline!Jack getting involved with WrongTimeline!Sam and never a word about how all went truly horribly wrong.

:-)

Time Paradoxes

I just finished watching, and I don't understand what theory of time travel they are using. They seem to be switching back and forth between decision-branching and the idea that the main timeline can be changed. I'm not sure whether we ended up with "our" team at the end because of the fish-pond thing. I prefer to believe that the team that went back in time in the first place was actually an alternate timeline team.

After hearing all the buzz about Jack thinking Daniel was gay, I was surprised that he didn't actually say it - he just made some vague hand motions. I was also disappointed that Sam was lying about her attraction to Daniel. I can see her trying to get in a kiss with the nearest interested guy before she dies, but I don't think it was necessary to disavow her attraction to Daniel. If I was a Sam-Daniel fan, I'd be ticked off right now.

I hope there's fanfic accounting for the years in Egypt, because I'd like to know what the team went through. It was a weighty decision not to return to the future: and while they were worried about changing the past, they should also have been aware of their value to the future. They were throwing away their lives, and then everyone died except Daniel.

I'd also like to know how Jack felt about giving Daniel up for torture, snaking, and death.

And if the branch-decision timeline is in play, then there was probably a sarcophagus on Chulak, and somewhere out there is a goa'uld Daniel. And he probably isn't too happy about what his Earth compatriots did to him.

MY IM was on for a while - and thanks for reminding me that I need to turn it on again today: I'm hoping a friend's husband will give me some advice on on how to use Acid Pro. If you want to IM me, the best thing to do is to tell me by email that you're trying to reach me that way.

I just posted elsewhere about something else that confused me about Moebius. I thought TPB had been saying that Moebius would be the clear end of the Goa'uld. I must have blinked and missed that. It seems to me that just about everything occured that was supposed to up until the end of Threads. The rebellion in Egypt was supposed to happen: Ra was supposed to depart without the Stargate. That means the Goa'uld are still around to wreak havoc. There's even a new goa'uld who could cross into our timeline: Alt-Daniel. Did I miss something? Where was the grand ending of the Goa'uld?
