aldora89 - The Lotus Eaters INSTANT REC!!! This was an excellent story to read while trapped on a plane because it completely sucked me into the story and kept me entertained for hours. I loved the concept, the imagery was vivid and interesting. I also loved the relationship buildup. This was a truly awesome story.

MK_Yujji: The Promise Within This was probably one of my favorite Merlin Big Bang stories. I loved the concept and how Arthur dealt with his new magic powers. Uther is still a flawed but interesting man and I loved how the one change in Arthur changes all of their destinies.

Regann - An Earlier Heaven

INSTANT REC!!! I had a blast reading this story. I loved Loki's experiences on Earth and adjusting to his magic not quite being under his control. I also loved all the original characters and the ending was awesome. (Only downside is that the story is long and on the norsekink meme so reading it is a bit of a pain)

Star Trek Reboot

Still Life by garryowen (dogpoet) (Kirk/Spock) INSTANT REC!!!! I loved the imagery, the character voices, and I had tears in my eyes through half the story. I loved the story concept and the images of the monastery.


Streetlight People Masterpost by ladyblahblah (Kirk/Spock) INSTANT REC!!! I loved the premise, the character voices, and I could not stop reading once I started.


Inception

The Music Makers by mami_san (Pairing:Arthur/Eames) INSTANT REC!!! This has been one of the most satisfying Inception stories I've read. The world building, character voices, and plot were all compelling. I could not stop reading once I started the story.


Metaphors As Mixed As You Can Make Them by halflinen (Pairing:Arthur/Eames) INSTANT REC!!! I loved the writing style, character voices, and I loved how Eames at the beginning of the story isn't the same as the one at the end. There was character change and growth and it made sense.


Towards Zero by mirabella (Pairing:Arthur/Eames) I loved Arthur's pov and the sex was incredibly hot.


Call and Answer by airgiodslv (Pairing:Arthur/Eames) The sex was hot and I loved the character voices.


Perfect Recall Verse by mami_san (Pairing:Arthur/Eames) INSTANT REC!!! This premise hit my kinks in all the right ways. I loved the character voices, the buildup, and the sex was hot.


White Collar

love's a universe beyond obey by hoosierbitch (Pairing:Moz/Neal) I loved the language in the story and the quiet moments. Moz was awesome.


Always Starts the Same, with a Boy and a Girl by lightgetsin (Peter/Neal/Elizabeth) I loved how this story unfolded and the twist on how things turned out.


Hikaru No Go

The Rival by harukami (shindou/touya) I absolutely adored the character voices and laughed more than once. I could see this happening. :)


Issues by Mirabella (shindou/touya) I loved Shindou in this story.


Supernatural

Every Me and Every You by runedgirl (Sam/Dean) This was very hot and I loved Sam and Dean's character voices.


Due South/Supernatural

Cabin Fever by strangeandcharm (Pairing:Castiel/Dean) I loved the character voices and the concept. :)


Battlestar Galactica Vid Recs

I'm Not Dead by dualbunny (vid:recs:bsg) INSTANT REC!!! I watched this vid about a million times and I'm still not tired of it.


Who Knew by dualbunny (vid:recs:bsg) This was another good relationship vid that summed up the Kara/Lee storyline rather well. :)


Some Time Around Midnight by bop_radar (vid:recs:bsg) INSTANT REC!!! This vid blew me away. It's the Kara/Lee vid I've been wanting to see for years and didn't know it.

Merlin

Steam by new_kate (merlin/arthur) INSTANT REC!!! I loved the use of technology in the story and all the small details as well as the histories woven into the story. I loved the way Merlin and Arthur fell in love.


Little Thief by scribblemoose (merlin/arthur) I had a lot of fun reading this. I liked the plot, the character voices, and I loved Merlin's voice in this story.


The Sorcerer and the King by winterhill (merlin/arthur) INSTANT REC!!! I could not stop reading once I started. I loved Arthur's pov, the plot was intense, I loved the use of magic, and how the story unfolds. This story blew me away on many levels. I also truly adored the OCs introduced.


Doctor Who

Moments from a Non-Linear Life by wishfulaces (Pairing:Amy/Rory) I loved all the moments shared in this story. It was sweet, funny, and at times sad.


Stargate Atlantis

Beginning's Endd by irony_rocks (Sheppard/Weir) INSTANT REC!!! I was hooked as soon as I read the summary. "During "Before I Sleep" the alternative version of John Sheppard lived as well" And the story did not disappoint. There was action, romance, and a good mystery to solve as Sheppard and Weir figure out how to save the expedition from 10k years in the past. I could not stop reading once I started.


Supernatural

Camdon Inn by dragonspell (Sam/Dean) This story hit my kinks in all the right ways. I loved the case, the atmosphere, and the sex was very hot.


Hearts Brighter Than Starry Skies by locknkey (Sam/Dean) I loved Dean's character voice in the story and the sex was hot. I also loved the idea of the guys in the woods doing survival training and falling deeper in love. :)


I'm your villain by fleshflutter (Pairing:Dean/Crowley) I loved the banter and the sex was incredibly hot.

Broken Road by hoosierbitch (Peter/Neal) This story broke my heart and made me cry. But it felt real in a way many stories that have rape-recovery and non-con, don't.


Prison by hoosierbitch (Pairing:Neal/OMC) This hit about all of my kinks.


Crossover Bingo: Round Three by captanddeastar (Peter/Neal) I had so much fun reading this story! I loved Peter's character voice and that Sam and Neal got along and the ending was perfect.


Exquisite by sam_storyteller (Nathan/Peter/Elizabeth) INSTANT REC!!! I loved the way this story unfolds and Peter and Neal's character voices felt spot.

Seven Magpies by [livejournal.com profile] syllic (merlin/arthur) INSTANT REC!!! I loved the premise, the AU verse, and Arthur was perfect here.


Supernatural

Melting Point Verse by strangeandcharm (Castiel/Dean) I really enjoyed this story, it was dark, angsty, with questionable consent issues between Castiel and Dean, and there's rape. But what I most loved as that if you read the verse all together it really does come together into this overall story that's interesting and I was invested in seeing how the story would end. :) I linked to the first part because there is no master post for this story.

DCU

Close To Home by iesika (Tim/Kon) INSTANT REC!!! I loved Kon's voice, the plot, the OC were interesting and I loved the universe. This also had a good murder mystery and I was left guessing through most of the fic. wonderful storytelling. :)


White Collar

Jack of Diamonds by Deastar (Peter/Neal) This was the first prison rape fic I read in this fandom and I loved it. :)


Legend of the Seeker Vids

Kahlan and Cara's Battle Without Honour or Humanity by ana_jo (vid:recs:LotS) This was an awesome action vid of Cara and Kahlan kicking ass and not necessarily taking names. :)


Lightning Field by bradcpu (vid:recs:LotS) I loved this vid, it was a great character study for Cara and her relationship with Kahlan. It was also very pretty. :)
