State of the Union address
Jan. 20th, 2004 09:27 pmI found the State of teh Union address very disturbing, and it was made more disturbing because my mom loves this guy. :( She completely approves of changing the constitution to prevent the possiblity of gay couples marrying.
I'm back from the holidays and i'm not sure if I'll have much time to keep this journal updated.

Date: 2004-01-20 08:06 pm (UTC)Bush's speech just pissed me off. Fuck him to hell! But I'm not surprised. But he should know it's like a hopeless fight. He can deny it all he wants but more countries and people are opening their minds. We just have to hope that we're still alive for the changes here. -_-
But anyway, did you have fun over the holidays?

Date: 2004-01-21 01:38 am (UTC)I didn't really look into it properly, but I hope it goes through, dunno why homosexual couples can't have the same rights as hetrosexual couples.

Anyway, this topic makes my blood boil and I'm in a pretty good mood tonight. Angel, Smallville, and Enterprise are on and it's fun watching three good tv shows in a row. :)
As for Yami's question. My holidays went fine, did a lot of visiting and I was out of town most of the time but overall I had a great time. I got the Two Towers Special Edition DVD and I loved the extended version so much better than the other one. :)
I'm completely and utterly captivated by Return of the King. Elijha Woods and Sean Astin were wonderful in the movie. Of course I mostly loved seeing Frodo suffer. I feel like I should feel bad about that but I can't help it, the story really hit home seeing them breaking down near the end barely able to walk. Sam was definately the hero of the day. :)
well have to go, Enterpriise started again.
