Firefly again

OMG this series is so good! I mean this show has lesbian sex(not too graphic) but very much implied, torture, and some great dialogue, action, a priest who knows how to fire a gun! The action, the humor, the characters. I love Jayne! Knowing there are only 13 episodes makes me want to watch the few I have left more slowly to preserve them longer. It's like reading a really good book and realizing that you are nearing the end and there won't be any more after you finish.

I need to find out who to write to and let them know they fucked up when they canceled this series.

Did you hear about the movie Serenity? It's suppose to be part of the Firefly universe.

I already saw the previews for Serenity it looks good so far. :) the only problem is that it's not a continuation of Firefly, it's kind of like a remake of the first two episodes. Kind of like an AU of Firefly...however I'm still going to be there the first day. :) there really aren't enough action sci-fi movies. :)

Actually, having *seen* Serenity in screener form, it's not a remake of the first two eps. It modifies the Simon/River intro, but after that, it starts after Objects in Space.

omg, that's such good news!!!! I was kind of worried that they'd just rehash what i had already seen.

I feel very much relieved. I can't wait for the movie. We are watching the last two episodes of the DVD tonight. It's hard to compare this to other sci-fi tv shows but definately this is up there, because not too many sci-fi are have so many good episodes and they only made 13, I wonder what would have happened if they'd gone to 22 like most tv series that make it through season 1.
