Serenity

For the next week I've switched my default icon to Firefly. :) Mostly to promote the new movie Serenity. I've heard a lot of good stuff about it but no spoilers, I think i've watched the trailers hundreds of times, and I'm going to see if I can find an advance screening for thursday night. :)

I'm so excited about this movie. :)

Hey, my husband wanted me to ask you if you knew if they were planning on restarting Firefly the series after the movie. He's a really big fan of the show, but I'm not supposed to watch it because he says that I do "terrible things" to sci fi shows I like. *snickers*

Firefly is really really good and some of the men really should be together. :)

About restarting the series...I've heard that the most we can hope for is another movie or two but it depends on how sucessful Serenity is. Some of the people who've gone to the screening and met the actors/actresses say that restarting the TV series may not be easy because I think Fox still has the contract or they had to sign away stuff to make this movie...I've researched this a little and I've heard different stories all over the place. But one thing I know for sure is that if the movie flops nothing is going to come from it. So I've been on a campaign to try and convince all my friends to go and watch Serenity. Really before you see the movie you should watch the series. it's really really good, though you'll hate when you get the end and realize there's no more.

One part of me is hoping the movie isn't sold out everywhere but another is really hoping it sells out everywhere because it'll be so much fun watching this with a firefly fans. :)

I can't believe how excited I am about this movie. :) I really feel for the fans that have waited years longer than me to see this movie.
